What are Weed Concentrates?
Like concentrated orange juice in the back of the freezer, cannabis concentrate is the product of distilling the most desirable parts of the plant. They contain all cannabinoids and terpenes from cannabis flowers and do not contain extra botanical material. An ounce of marijuana concentrate contains a much higher proportion of cannabinoids and terpenes than raw cannabis flowers.
Cannabinoids and terpenes contribute to the effects, odors, and flavors you can experience with cannabis products. They are found throughout cannabis plants in small, shiny structures called trichomes. Weed concentrate is simply a condensation of these trichomes.
Concentrates allow you to experience the best parts of weed in different ways and are offered in different textures that can be consumed in different ways. Cannabis concentrates and extracts can be taken alone, co-sprayed for increased efficacy, or made into edible batches, depending on their final form.
